Wes Collins

For Roosevelt Park City Council

Who I Am & Why I’m Running

I'm Wes Collins, a Roosevelt Park resident and industrial engineer with a degree from the University of Michigan. As an engineering leader, I work with complex systems, bring people together to solve problems, and look for practical ways to improve quality while using resources responsibly.

I'm running because Roosevelt Park is already a great community. I want to preserve what works while preparing thoughtfully for the future by listening to residents, local organizations, businesses, and city staff, understanding where problems exist, and helping guide practical policies that keep Roosevelt Park strong.

Strong Today.

Ready for Tomorrow.

How I’ll Guide City Policy

Strong, Efficient City Services

Maintain reliable public services and infrastructure, pursue outside funding, improve city processes, and make responsible use of city resources.

Better Neighborhood Streets

Address speeding and improve conditions for pedestrians, bicyclists, and children traveling to school.

Thoughtful Growth

Improve walkability, support local businesses, and encourage development that strengthens our commercial areas while preserving neighborhood character.
